VIRTUAL 12 Week DBT Skills Group (16+) is on Thursday's at 5-6:30.  We are enrolling now for our new group, starting July 16th over ZOOM


Alicia Ayvas, LCSW was trained in DBT in 2009 at Columbia University and is overseeing the Monday night group that will be run by Tori Palmer, LMSW. The group is energetic, educational, and targets all 4 modules in DBT and will leave clients with a comprehensive binder of all of the skills learned throughout the group.

Issues: Eating Disorders / Trauma / Self Harm / Depression /Anxiety / OCD
Gender: All
Age: This group is between ages 18yrs - 30 yrs.  
Where: From the comfort of your own home (we will be using ZOOM as the virtual platform)

When: Thursday's at 5:00 - 6:30pm
Cost: $80 per group (members must commit to all 12 sessions with consent for group leader to communicate with primary therapist)

Virtual Group

8 - Week Teen Skills Group - CURRENTLY ENROLLING MEMBERS

Starting August 19th at 4-5pm


Our world has been flipped upside down over the last few months and Clarity Counseling hopes to provide more support to our teens!

This group will provide teens with skills to manage stress and anxiety and build resilience.  We also will process together the changes to come this school year.  Each week, we will learn new coping skills inspired by Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and talk about how to use the skills in everyday life.  

 


Issues: Transitions, Anxiety, Worry, Stress, Depression, Coping during COVID-19, Virtual School 
Gender: All
Age:  13 - 17yrs
Where: From the comfort of your own home   (We will be using ZOOM as the virtual platform)

When: This group will meet for 8 weeks every Wednesday at 4:00pm - 5:00pm

 

 

The group has a fee of $60 per group and receipts are provided to submit to insurance.

 


VIRTUAL GROUP

Teen Process Group - (CURRENTLY ENROLLING MEMBERS FOR TUESDAY'S 5-6pm GROUP)


The Teen Process Group will be meeting every Wednesday at 1 - 2pm over ZOOM. This group is meant for individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, mood instability, are in recovery from an eating disorder and who are commitment to working toward being behavior free. This group is a safe place to process thoughts and feelings and to gain education, skills, and preventative tools to apply in real life situations. Each week the group leader with work with members to focus on a different topic in a safe and confidential environment. The group will be an open group, therefore all are welcome after receiving an initial assessment by the group leader to make sure it is a good fit!


Issues: Anxiety, Depression, Mood Disorder, Eating Disorders and Disordered Eating, Trauma
Gender: All
Age: Teens (13 - 17yrs)
Where: From the comfort of your own home.  (We will be using ZOOM as the virtual platform)
When: Wednesday's at 1 - 2pm and Tuesday at 5-6pm is enrolling new members now

 

The group has a fee of $60 per group and receipts are provided to submit to insurance.

 


VIRTUAL GROUP

Young Adult Process Group (20 - 30 years old)  - CURRENTLY ENROLLING MEMBERS


The Young Adult Process Group will be meeting every Thursday over ZOOM. This group is meant for individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, mood instability, are in recovery from an eating disorder and who are commitment to working toward being behavior free. ZOOM Group For Parents and Supports

Topic: DBT What is it and how can we use it during these uncertain times?

(Topics will change monthly)

 

 

This NEW monthly meeting is meant to help bridge the gap in treatment by providing information and coaching to parents and supports.  June's topic will focus on DBT and provide an overview of the 12-week DBT skills group offered here at Clarity.  This is a great way for parents and supports to learn and understand what the upcoming DBT skills groups will be focusing on.

 

Alicia Ayvas, LCSW, CEDS-S, Clarity's Founder and Executive Director, is excited to offer this new monthly meeting, and hopes to focus on different topics each month for education, coaching and support.  

 


Issues: Parents & supports who have loved ones in treatment for mental health disorders or illnesses
Gender: All
Age: 18+

Where: All meetings will be offered via a Zoom meeting.  All participants must register prior to the group to receive an invite for access

When: June 26th at 1-2pm 

 

 

The Zoom group has a fee of $25 per individual and $40 per family, however June's ZOOM meeting will be FREE for all families and supports.

 


FREE Zoom Parent Support  

 

This group is intended to provide a safe space for parents to connect with others to freely process their role in the recovery process.  Currently we have a mix of parents where clients are stepping down from RTC, others with children in HLOC, and OP.  The intent is provide support to parents who are on the front lines and to provide support during these very challenging
